There is no better way to build your brand than a music festival. Maybe not on the scale of the annual Caloundra Music Festival but a Sunday arvo mini fest or a day long in the car park or paddock beside your venue will work well.

After a decade managing the Caxton Street Seafood and Wine Festival, we began our annual ten month plan with capacity.

Capacity generally influences your first big festival planning decision.

Brisbane’s great festivals and events bring together and celebrate local cultures and enhance our reputation as a vibrant and creative city. If you are planning an event, you may need an Entertainment Event Permit if your capacity exceeds 1500 people. There are also related event approvals that may be required for both small and large events. Understand Council’s requirements for event preparation, safety and notification to stakeholders and access useful event planning resources. Click Here to See what you need

Once you know how big, you can start planning.
